The workshop
In an interactive workshop, we would like to discuss the policy-makers' and authority experts’ understanding of effective risk communication including the actual strategies, methods, capacities as well as experienced results and limitations. Questions will also refer to collaborations within the food chain, including public participation, cooperation with non-governmental organisations and educational institutions. We will address these questions in a World Café. The results will help to develop a food safety risk communication toolbox designed for food safety authorities.
